On May 15, 2007, Scholarships are presented at Gilmer High School Scholarship Night. Five student recipients are awarded $1,000 each. Presenting the scholarships are Jack Bearden, Chairman of the Board of Directors, FHC,  and Millie Kelley, an FHC Scholarship Committee Member.
